Salon Du Monde Event numero dos

Another great event with the talented ladies at Salon Du Monde this past Sunday. Thanks to everyone that made it a success. Here are a few of the photos I took after some editing. I've been getting a little more in depth with beauty editing lately. I've always been something of a disaster when it comes to Photoshop (this isn't to say I'm inept, I'm just not quite as skilled as I'd like to be), so it's a slow moving process, but I'm pretty happy with these images. <3

3/18/11 Shoot with Heather

     I shot with Heather for the first time about a year and a half ago. It was probably the hottest day of that particular summer, and she was a total trooper shooting in a floor length velvet dress, never complaining about the ungodly weather. When she got in touch with me letting me know that she would be home for spring break this week I was stoked to get together on another collaboration. Even happier when she told me her once white blond hair was now dark brown. "Great!," I said, "It'll be like shooting an entirely different model!" We wound up with a gorgeous spring day, fabulous shots, and Heather did not have to once again endure ridiculous weather conditions. These are a few that I edited.

Shoot with Julia Nicole 3/5/11

I've been shooting with Julia since she was just starting off as a model and I was just starting off shooting models. She's since done runway, been featured in calendars for both Guitar Heads and Girdle Bound, and has shot with countless respectable photographers in the New Jersey, New York, and Philadelphia area. We've worked together on a number of incredible photo shoots, adventuring to abandoned buildings in some of the sketchiest of locations, and have gotten ourselves in many crazy situations both through our projects together and also just in life in general as she also happens to be my very best friend. She came to my house for the weekend to visit, so we took the opportunity to shoot by the creek behind my house for a little bit on Saturday. She was totally top model worthy, rocking a sleeveless nightgown whilst climbing around the rocky terrain, all in early March without so much as complaining once about being cold. Here are some of the shots that resulted from our shoot.

Salon Du Monde Shoot

I got to work with the great ladies over at Salon Du Monde on Arnold Ave. in Point Pleasant yesterday, as well as a ton of great models, and two other wonderful photographers. It was a really successful event, and I'll definitely be working with the salon again in the future. Here are just a handful of the shots I got from the day.
